TRAGIC DREAM (short story)

Part 1: Our First Meet

I am Kenzie,23 year old woman who want to enjoy her life without being control by her parents. I grew up in a luxurious environment. I am an only child and has been given a very good education since childhood. Even though I was born in a luxurious environment,I am someone who is like something simple,a very humble person and someone who is a very well-mannered. For your information,it was a tradition in our family lineage to only married with someone that the same level like us. But,I was never agreed to that.

"Kenzie, did you still remember Aunt's Haiden?" Asked Kenzie's mom.

"Yeah, of course [pretending to remember]. But why did you asked?" Asked Kenzie.

"She held a party tonight to celebrate his son who has just returned from abroad and we get invited. I want you to come with me tonight."

"Well,here comes another agenda to set me up with her friend's son. [sigh]" Said Kenzie in her heart.

"Kenzie? You'll come with me right?"

"Yeah,of course I'll come with you." Reply Kenzie with a smile on her small face.

"That's my daughter. Make sure to wear prettily tonight."

[That night]

"Oh my god, she grew up so well. She has gotten more beautiful just like her mother." Said Auntie's Kenzie.

"Thank you." Reply Kenzie with a smile.

"Oh by the way,meet my son, Yaxel who will be soon take over his father's business."

"He's so handsome. He really is my daughter's ideal type."

[Cough] "What? Oh yeah." Reply Kenzie follow with her awkward laugh.

"That's good then. Well, maybe we can leave our children together so that they can get closer with each other"

"That's a good idea."

"Mom?What are you doing?"

"This is your chance darling." Whisper Kenzie's mom.

[Your mom and Auntie's Haiden left both of you alone]

 "I'm sorry if she makes you uncomfortable." Said Yaxel

"What? No! I should be the one to say sorry behalf of my mom."

"If you okay,can I talk informally with you?"

"Of course, we're in the same age by the way." Reply Kenzie with a smile

"You have such a beautiful smile." Said Yaxel suddenly.

"Is that how you flirting?"

"No no, please don't take it wrongly."

"Hey, did you have a car?" Asked Kenzie suddenly.

"Yeah, but why?"

"Would you mind if you let me drive it for a while. I already have my licence."

"Of course, here's the key."

"Thank you! I'll return it later!"

"Finally, thank to him. I got escaped from all that.",

"But if she find out about this..I'll be a dead meat."

"Nah who cares. I'll just enjoy this night"

[Saw a man running towards your car]

[Make an emergency brake]

"Oh my god, who's that?"

[Went out to check out on him]

"Are you okay sir?"

[No responce]

"Did he died??? Oh my god what should I do?!"

[Reach out your phone to call an ambulance]

[At the hospital]

"You wake up."

"Are you okay?

"Where am I?"

"You're unconscious so I brought you at the hospital."

"I have to go."

"Where do you want to go? You should rest a little bit. You might faint again."

"Who are you? A doctor?"

"No, but still you just awake"

"I can't be long here."

"Then please let me send you."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, well if something happened to you,I can help you right? At least there's someone to help you"

"If you insist."

[In the car]

[Awkward silence straight for 5 minutes]

"Did you have any illness?"

"No" Reply him coldly

"Ohh..Then did anything happened to you?I mean your wound-" Another question by Kenzie.

"It's not your problem."

"Ohh okay..Sorry."

"You can just drop me here."

"Oh okay."

[Went out without saying thank you]

"Wait sir!"

"Can't you at least say thank you? I have help you and even drive you here"

"But I didn't asked for it." Reply him and goes inside without looking back

"Gosh, why did I even help him if this is what I get in return. Is it that hard to just said thank you? It's just two words, just said "thank you" that's all. I didn't even asked for something that's hard." Annoyed Kenzie.

Part 2: The Mystery Guy

"Where did you go?" Asked Kenzie's mom.

"Oh, uhm.." Kenzie stuttering.

"You left him alone. I didn't taught my daughter to have that kind of manners!" Scold Kenzie mom.

"I'm sorry,but you shouldn't leave me with a man who I just knew."

"He's my friend son and I have a reason why I'm doing that!"

"Mom,I never objected what you asked me to do. Never once I said no but,have you ever think of what I really want to do,why I've never objected any of your words and what I felt all this times? Have it ever crossed your mind?"

"Can you please just this once,let me do what I want to do."

[Head to your bedroom]

"I didn't finish talking yet!"

"Mom please, I'm tired. Let's talk about this later."

[After done showering and changing]

[Got a messages from an unknown number]

"Thank you for last night" -Unknown

"Sorry but may I know who is this?"- Kenzie

"I owned you a "thank you" so I just give back what I owned" -Unknown

"Ohh you're that rude man!!!" - Kenzie

"Wait,how did you get my number?" -Kenzie

"Are you a stalker?Did you stalk me to get my number?" - Kenzie

"He's somewhat a mystery guy" Said Kenzie in tiny

[A weeks has passed]

[You met your best friend whom you haven't met for almost a year due to her study abroad]

"Y/n! It's been sooooo longgg!" Said Mina happily

"Mina! I've been missing you a lot. How are you doing?" Asked y/n while hugging Elora.

"As you can see I've been doing good"

"Yeah, you're must be toooo happy huh?"

"I know you would mention about this"

"Come on,tell me how did you find him? What did he do to make you falling for him this much?"

"It's a long story but I'll make it short"

"Well, did you remember the man that I once tell you?"

"Okay,but which one?"

"The one that used to tease me a lot and make me annoyed. You remember him?"

"Wait hold up,you used to hate him so much and how did it end up this way?"

"I don't know,maybe that's what we call faith." Reply Mina while shrugged her shoulder.

"So who is the first one that make a move?"

"Obviously not me. It's him. Actually I didn't expect him to do that but yeah,something that are unexpected sometimes can be happen right?"

[Saw that "mystery guy" at the street"

"It's him." Said Kenzie while looking out the window.

"Who?"

"Mina,I'm sorry but can you stay here for a while? I have to meet someone.

"Someone? Who?"

"A mystery guy" Reply Kenzie and leave quickly.

"A mystery guy?Wait Kenzie!"

[At the outside]

"Wait!!!"

[He turned his head to you]

"You're stalking me right?"

"Me? Stalking you?" Asked him confusedly

"Yeah, you got my number without my knowledge and even followed me here. Isn't that stalking?"

[He chuckled]

"What's so funny?

"Miss,what's the reason for me to stalk and follow you?"

"Well, maybe because you like me?" Reply Kenzie shameless.

"We're just met and we're not even know each other name. So why should I like you?"

"Okay I'm sorry,but did you really stalking me?" Asked Kenzie with curiosity.

"No,why should I do something that makes you uncomfortable."

"Ohh God, that's a relieved"

"Were you that scared that I'm stalking you?

"Who in this world isn't scare if a stranger stalking them."

"Maveric" Said him unexpectedly.

"Sorry what?" Asked Kenzie confusedly.

"Maveric. That's my name"

"Oh,well I'm Kenzie."

"So we're not a stranger anymore right? Since we've known each other names." Said Maveric while looking straight into y/n eyes.

"Wow that's smooth" Kenzie chuckles.

"Kenzie! There you are!" Shout Elora.

"Well..I guess see you soon?"

"Yeah, sure" Reply Kenzie with her beautiful smile.

"Wow Wow..So is that "a mystery guy"?"

"I told you to wait for me right? Why did you come out looking for me?"

"Oups, were you mad because you couldn't talk with him for a long time? If yes then I'm sorry."

[Kenzie give a serious face]

"Okayy I was worried about you. That's why I went out looking for you."

"No, you're just curious to find out who's that mystery guy".

"Wow y/n,you're indeed my bestfriend."

Part 3: What is This Feelings

"So we're not a stranger anymore right? Since we've known each other names"

[Kenzie's smile unexpectedly]

"Wait,no Kenzie. You only knew him a few days. No no you shouldn't do this"

"But his eyes,the way he speak..Argh he's so dreaming"

[Door knock]

"Yes, come in."

[Kenzie's mom come in]

"Darling,can I ask for your help?"

"Help? What kind of help?"

"I have to meet someone tomorrow to discuss about our project,but I can't go since I already have other schedule to do tomorrow. So can you go on my behalf?"

"Can't you changed the date?"

"I have tried to discuss with him about the date change,but he insisted to do it tomorrow. Please, you won't disappoint me right?"

[Sigh] "Okay okay,I'll go"

"Thank you love. I'll send you the location later okay."

" Kenzie" [smirk]

[Kenzie's mom chosen outfits]

"Kenzie?"

"Yaxel? What are you doing here?"

"My mom asked me to come here to meet someone."

"Wait..My mom said that to me too.." Said Kenzie confusedly.

"Oh my god,I think we both have being dumbfounded by them."

"But I was fine with it."

"Sorry?"

"I mean because of our mom,we get a chance to meet each other..I like it."

"Well if you okay with that then okay.."

"So did you have any..man you like?"

"For now,not yet..I guess.."

"Why? You sound like you're not sure about it? Did you have someone in your mind?"

"I don't know,I only knew him a few days ago and we're not that close yet."

"Wow that man must be lucky."

"What do you mean?"

"You're gorgeous,clever,a cutie girl.."

"Woah woah..Stop it, you're making me blushing."

"I wish I can have someone like you in my life too."

"Nah, you should get someone much better than me."

"And maybe if you want my help..I can help you find one?"

"No it's fine..I already have someone in my heart."

"Wow who is it?"

[He just smile while looking at Kenzie]

[Notification come in]

"Y/n,did you free tonight?" - Maveric

"If you're free,I would like to have some dinner with you tonight" - Hyunjae

"Dinner?With me?" Said Kenzie in her heart.

"Who is it?"

"Ohh nothing."

"That nothing can make you smile till your ears?"

[Kenzie smile]

"Yaxel,I think I have to go back. Maybe next time we can go out together again?"

"Yeah sure. I'll remember that."

Part 4: When The Flower Blossoms

"So, why did you want to see me?"

"Nothing,just missing you." Reply Maveric while smiling at you.

"Oh.my.god. Why did my heart feels like exploded? Please don't be blushing. Act cool Kenzie ,act cool.." Said Kenzie in her heart.

"I bet you must be a sweet talker guy"

"Well not actually..I only did this to

someone I really like."

[Kenzie speechless]

"I know we just knew each other but the first time I saw you. I felt like I've known you for a long time. You're just different.

"It may sound cliche to you but I really mean it. I like you Kenzie."

"Maveric, I-" 

"It's okay take your time,I won't force you to like me back"

"He said that?" Asked Elora shockingly.

"Yeah..What should I do?"

"Okay..Did you like him too?"

 "I don't know..What if he just playing with my heart?"

"Look,I was just like you before. To be honest,I didn't expect my boyfriend would propose to me..Well you know how our relationship was right. But there's one thing that makes me sure about it. It's his sincerity when he said that."

"Kenzie,when I saw him at the street last time. I was sure that he must have some special feeling toward you

"How did you sure about that?"

"Come on,the way he looks at you. It's not an ordinary look Kenzie! He literally fell for you!"

[Kenzie thinking hard about it]

"Don't be too hard on yourself. You might lose something that's important in your life." Said Elora while drinking her hot chocolate.

[Kenzie asked Maveric to meet him at the park]

"I've think about it"

"I- I like you too" Said Kenzie shyly

"Sorry what?"

"Did I heard it wrong or?.."

"So should we proceed to go on our first date?" Asked Maveric while looking at Kenzie

[Kenzie can hear her heart beating fast as it just done running through a 5 laps"

"Princess?"

"Pri-Princess?"

"Yeah, you're my princess now"

"Please why did all the words that came out of his mouth makes me melt like an ice that has been left outside?" Said Kenzie in her heart.

"Is it too cold? Your cheeks has turned red"

"WHAT?? NO,MY CHEEKS WILL NATURALLY TURN RED SOMETIMES."

"Ohh.."

[Maveric cover your cheeks with his warm hands]

"It's because it doesn't seems to go away"

[Kenzie sudden hiccup]

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah" [hiccup]

"Wait,I'll buy you a drinks."

[He went to the convenience store that is in front of you"

"Gossh this veryyy embarassing"

[He went back with a plastic bag that contains 2 canned drinks and a 2 hot pack]

"Here..I don't want you to catch a cold."

"But this isn't because of the cold" Said Kenzie in her heart

[Drinking your drink but felt like someone is watching]

"Why? Did I have something on

my face?"

"Yeah.." 

"Oh really? Where?"

[Pointing at Kenzie's face]

"Here..Cuteness"

[Kenzie choked because of his sudden attack"

[Maveric chuckles]

And the date goes on...

"Today I am the happiest person in this world" Said Maveric to Kenzie

"Then what about me?"

"Uhm.. You're lucky to have me?"

"Oh am I?"

"Yeah because I am someone who won't easily give this kind of service to anyone except you."

"Wow I guess I really lucky then"

"And the fact that I get to be myself when I'm with you"

[Kenzie's smile]

"Thank you for today Maveric..You really make me feel loved"

"Well my princess deserved that"

[Kenzie chuckles]

"Are you sure I didn't have to drive you home?"

"Yeah, I'm afraid my parents would

"Are you sure I didn't have to drive you home?"

"Yeah, I'm afraid my parents would see you"

"Why?"

"They aren't like the others parents..They're a little complicated.."

"It's okay,I understand"

"So,see you another time?Maybe we can hangout a little longer?"

"Of course"

[Kenzie leave while waving at Maveric]

"Bye my princess! I love you!"

[Kenzie jokingly make a face]

Part 5: The Secret Revealed

You and Maveric has been in a relationship for almost a months but whenever you asked about his job,he always tried to avoid it.

"But you don't have to tell me if you don't want to"

"Okay,my job isn't an ordinary job..It's involves a lot of dangers and keeps me surrounded by many enemies"

"So that's why he always followed you around?"

"Ohh him..Yeah,he's one of my mans"

"It's must be hard for you right?

"It's must be hard for you right? You have to deal with all this because of your job"

"Well not actually"

"It's because I did grow up in an environment like this"

[Kenzie just came back from a date with Maveric]

[Got a messages from an unknown number]

"Are you sure he's a good person and can be trusted?"

[Kenzie look at Maveric with her confused face]

"Hey,let's go watch some movie"

[Slowly take Kenzie's hands and hold it]

[Offline]

"Who is this person and where did all this pictures come from?

"Is the one in this picture is really Maveric?"

[Kenzie immediately call Maveric]

[Calling..]

[Ringing..]

"Yes my princess?"

"Can we meet tomorrow?"

"Why? Already miss me?"

"Around 11 o'clock, I'll send you the address"

[Hanging up]

[Kenzie look at this picture again]

"Where did you get all this pictures?"Asked Maveric shockingly

"So it's really you.."

"Kenzie.."

"What's your job actually? What kind of danger did you mean?"

"Kenzie I can explain"

"Then explain it..Tell me what I'm thinking right now is wrong"

"I am a mafia"

[Kenzie eyes getting teary]

"Kenzie I'm sorry,I know I should tell you earlier but I'm scared you can't accept it"

"Did all those blood..coming from your victims? Did you killed 'em?

"Yes but I have my reason"

"Oh my god.."

[Kenzie tears flow down on her cheeks]

"You know what, the moment I get this picture,the first thing I was hoping is the person in this picture isn't you..I tried my best to get rid of all the questions that lingered in my mind..Is it really him?Did he really a good person?"

"I thought I know you  well Maveric,but I was wrong..Why must you hide this from me?

"Because I know you will be disappointed when you find out that your boyfriend is the mafia"

"I am more disappointed because you were dishonest with me"

[Kenzie tried to leave]

[Maveric grab Kenzie wrist and stop her from go]

"Please don't go"

"I need more time to think about this"

[Straightly hugging Elora]

"Hey,what's wrong?"

"Can I sleep here tonight?" Said Kenzie with her puffy eyes

"Okay let's go to my room. We talk there"

"So how? Does it's feel better after a shower"

[Kenzie sit next to Elora and lean her head to Elora]

"What's wrong?What exactly happened untill you become like this?"

"My mind is really messed up right now"

"Did something happened between you and Maveric?"

[Kenzie sigh]

"So what's it? Did he cheat on you?!"

"No!"

"Then? Come on just tell me and stop making that face! You make me more worried"

"He's a mafia!" Said Kenzie unexpectedly

[Kenzie cover her mouth]

"Wha-what? A mafia? Like the rreall mafia???"

[Kenzie nod]

"How come someone like him is actually the mafia?"

"I know right..I didn't expect it either"

"So you're mad because he didn't tell you the truth?"

"Not mad but more to disappointed"

"Then?Did you want to break up with him?"

[Kenzie just keep quiet while looking at the floor]

"If that's what on your mind,don't"

"Why?Is it just because he's the mafia so you want to leave him?

[Turn Kenzie face towards her]

"Kenzie,listen to your advisor okay..Just because he has such a job,doesn't mean he a bad person..Sometimes people that we thought were good aren't as good as we think and people that we thought were bad aren't as bad as we think.. His background will not determine who he really is"

"I don't know what you're going to do but if I were you, I'd give him a chance to prove that he's not as bad as we thought"

"But my parents.. What if they know about him? You know how they are like right? They would do anything to break us apart"

"I don't want to lose him either"

[Kenzie get teary eyes]

"Aww don't be sad..I don't like to see you like this"

[Elora tries to comfort Kenzie]

Part 6: Happiness

"About last time.."

"I was too shocked..I'm sorry"

"But I wanna ask you,how long have you been doing all this?I mean all this works"

"Since my father died..I've to take over his work when I'm around 19 y/o"

"So you've been doing this for a long time?"

"Yeah"

"Oh would you like to come to my house?"

"WHAT?YOUR HOUSE?ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!"

"No!!!I mean,I want to show you where I'm doing all my works that's all..Anyway,it's not like we'll be alone there"

"Okay Kenzie you just embarrassed yourself for the 2nd time" Said Kenzie in tiny

[Chuckles Maveric]

"So you're living in this house alone?"

"Uhm not actually.. You remember the man that you mention last time?"

"Ohh the one that always follow you around?"

"Yeah,he stayed here with me"

"Just both of you?"

"Yeah..Please don't think nonsense..I'm straight, that's why I'm dating you right now"

"What?[laugh] I didn't said anything"

"I know what you're thinking Kenzie"

"Ohh really?So what am I thinking now?"

"Uhmm maybe me?"

"You?Why should I think about you?"

"Because I was always in your mind" Said Maveric while gazing into Kenzie's eyes

[Kenzie avoid his gaze]

"So you said you want to show me your work room right?"

"Yeah let's go"

"Yeah because I don't want my future wife to get tired tidying everything up"

"Your future wife must be lucky then"

"Of course she is..I mean look at her husband" whisper Maveric to Kenzie ears

[Kenzie faced suddenly turned red]

"I-I'm hungry let's go eat"

[Kenzie quickly went out from that room leaving Maveric behind]

"Wait!I'll cook for my princess!"

[While waiting for Maveric,you chatting with his man (the one that you saw last time)]

"Would you mind if I ask you something?"

"No,not at all"

"What kind of person Maveric is?"

"He may look cold outside,but he's actually the softest person especially with the person he love"

"He once getting in trouble with the boys at his school because he tried to help a girl from being harassed by that boys"

"Ohh what a gentleman"

"You must have known him for a long time.."

"I was like a brother to him and he's like my lil brother..We grown up together since my father was once his father man"

"Did you know, he once had a girl he likes..but she left him when he told her about his background"

"So when I get to know that he like someone, I'm worried that person might break his heart again,but after I see you,get to know the real you..I know you're a kind person"

"Please accept him as he is..He's the person who wouldn't easily falling in love with a random girl but once he fell in love..He'll do anything for that girl..So please don't ever break his heart again"

"I won't..I promise"

[Maveri's done cooking]

"What were you two talking about huh?"

"Nothing she's just asking about you"

"So what did he said? Is it a good things or the opposite?"

"Well it doesn't matter whether it's a good things or not..At least I get to know the real you"

"But hey you really are a good cooker Kenzie"

"No need to tell me that. I already know it" Said Maveric proudly

[They're all continue eating while chatting like a family]

Part 7: I Won't Let You Go

"Kenzie,you're finally back"

"What's wrong?" Said Kenzie curiosity while looking at your parents

"Me and your father has discussed about this.. You'll soon be marry with Aunt's Haiden son, Yaxel!"

[Kenzie was very surprised after hearing that]

"We've talked to his parents and we both agreed to that. We're planning to make it as soon as possible" Said Kenzie's dad

"Mom dad..I'm sorry but I can't accept it"

"Kenzie!!!!"

"I'm sorry but I already have someone else"

"Then bring him here tomorrow"

"They really want to see me?" Said Maveric happily

"Yeah.." Reply Kenzie

"Why? You look worried?"

"I'm scare they can't accept you as you're"

"What do you mean?"

"You're a mafia Maveric,my parents are very concerned about a person's background. They want to make sure that person is an academic person"

"I can just quit and find other better job just for you Kenzie"

"It's okay,everything will be okay. Trust me" Said Maveric tried to comfort Kenzie

[Maveric held Kenzie's hand]

"My families is a mafia..I grew up in that kind of environment since childhood and now my dad has passed away,so I am the one who take over his job"

[Everyone are surprised by what Maveric has said except Kenzie who's worried about him]

"Kenzie!??DID YOU KNOW THIS?"

"Yes.."

"Oh my god,what have happened to you?!This isn't what I taught you to be Kenzie! You want to be a wife of a mafia? Are you even in your right mind Kenzie?!"

"I can quit from doing this and find the better one only for Kenzie"

"But that still doesn't changed the fact that you're once a mafia!"

"Dad!"

"My decision is final,you should marry Yaxel by the end of month"

[Maveric were shocked by that sudden announced]

"And you,I want you to let go of my daughter for her better life"

"No I won't" Said Maveric bravely

"What?"

"I can accept if you tell me to quit my job even now,I can do that. But if you tell me to let go of Kenzie,I'm sorry,I can't do it"

"Do you realize who you're talking to right now?"

"Yes I am. I know I'm rude to say that and I apologize but I'm telling you again,I'll never let go of the person I love"

[Said Maveric while holding Kenzie's hand tightly]

"I promise you that I'll never let you go right" Said Maveric looking at Kenzie

"Kenzie,go back to your room now!" Said Kenzie's dad

"No dad,I'm sorry but this time I can't follow what you ask me to do"

"We'll go now"

"Once you step outside from this house, don't ever thinking about coming back!"

[Maveric looking at Kenzie worriedly] "I'm sorry again.." Said Kenzie while

tried to hold her tears

"What are we doing here?"

"Don't hold it,it'll hurt you more"

[Maveric went out to give Kenzie some time alone to cry out loud]

[Maveric then cover the car windows with a foam]

[Kenzie tears continue to flow rapidly]

"I don't know if this fit you or not..This might be a litle big for you but I hope it makes you comfortable"

"Hyunjae.."

"Yes?"

"Thank you for everything..I don't know if I deserve all this after what they've said to you..I'm sorry behalf of my parents"

"Hey hey don't mention it..To be honest,I don't care at all because what matter now is you are here with me"

[Kenzie just smile while looking at Maveric]

"Go freshen up,today has been a tough day for you right"

"But in case you want me to help you..Just call me" Flirting Maveric as he closed his face to Kenzie

[Kenzie stop Hyunjae face]

"What a pervert"

[Kenzie take her towel and pyjamas then quickly went to the bathroom]

Part 8: How I Wish This is Just a Dream

[Kenzie have stayed at Maveri's house over than a weeks]

Kenzie's bored,so she decided to wander around the house. But then she saw an A5 size notebook on the desk at the living room. At first she only want to take a look of that book but when she try to put it back,a polaroid containing a picture of Kenzie that taken by Maveric during their date fall.

[Kenzie smile while looking at the polaroid]

Kenzie tried to put it inside but she suddenly want to know what's inside that book. She then open it carefully and read it page by page. It contains all the lists of plans he wants to do with his love one. Kenzie read it while smiling and this one list got her attention. It's written that he wants to go to a theme park, wearing the same headband and watching a fireworks with his love one. Kenzie then decided to make his dream come true on his birthday where there are only a few days left because she want to make it more memorable for both of them.

[Suddenly got a phone call from her friend]

"Kenzie.. Your mom is in hospital!"

[Just like that, the moment of Kenzie joy gone]

"How is she?"

"She's doing fine and now she's resting in the room" Said Elora to Kenzie

[Kenzie try to check her mom up but got stop by her father]

"What are you doing here?"

"Please dad,I just want to see my mom"

"Your mom? Did you know the reason why she fell sick?It's all because of you. Because you followed that man!"

"Dad please let me see her for a minutes,please" Beg Kenzie

"Kenzie darling,is that you?" Said Kenzie's mom while looking for you

"Yes mom I'm here..I'm sorryy.." Kenzie tear fell down

"No need to say sorry darling,I was

happy you're back"

[Kenzie's mom take Kenzie's hand and hold it]

"Please marry Yaxel..I only want the best for my daughter"

"But mom,I already happy with him"

"But did you ever think what will happened to our family image? Are you willing embarrassed us by refusing to marry Yaxel?"

[Kenzie went outside to take some fresh air]

"Where did you go alone?" Maveric

"Oh I'm sorry.I forgot to tell you that my mom was at the hospital and for now, I want to take care of her" Kenzie

"But don't worry,she's doing fine now and I don't think you need to come here..Sorry" Kenzie

"Okayy, it's okay.. Don't forget to take a rest too princess" Maveric

[The fact that Kenzie read his message while crying]

"I'm not ready to leave him yet.."

"So have you think about it?" Asked Kenzie's dad

"I'll marry him but I only do this because you're my parents. Not because I love him"

[Kenzie said that while clenched her fist]

"That's good,what matter is you marry him not that man"

"But I have one request"

"What is it?"

"Let me see him for the last time this Wednesday"

[It's on his birthday]

"Okay"

"How did you know I want to go to this place?"

"I saw it on your notebook Maveric"

"You're looking at it without asking my permission?"

"Then how about you? You secretly taking my picture without my knowledge"

"Okayy I'm sorry but I think it's not wrong to keep it as a memories"

[Kenzie just smile]

"Hey let's go to that store!" Kenzie pull Maveri's hand with her

"Okay so you even know about this matchy headbands?"

"Okayy this one look cute"

"You sure?"

"Why?Isn't it cute?"

"No, you're more cute"

"Eyyy"

"Oh it's time for a fireworks show!"

Kenzie try to pull Maveric again but Maveri's faster, he takes Kenzie's hand and hold it

[You stare at Maveri's face that is focus on looking that fireworks show]

"What will happened to you once I leave you.." Said Kenzie in her heart

"Why?Can't stop looking at my handsome face?"

"Shesh"

"But hey stay there, the view looks good on you"

[Kenzie take a picture of him]

"Finally I have a picture of you in my phone"

"Did you need more?I can send it to you daily"

"Noo" Said Kenzie jokingly

"Happy birthday to my very first love"

"Thank you princess"

"Well..This might be my first and last wishing you a happy birthday" Said Kenzie while hugging Maveric tightly

"Hey are you okay?"

"Let stay like this for a liltle longer"

[Kenzie tried to hold her tears]

"Kenzie?Answer me,what's happened? Don't make me worried like this"

"I'm sorryy Hyunjae but please let me go.."

[Kenzie tears kept flowing downs on her cheeks]

"What?"

"I had to accept my parents request to marry Yaxel..I'm sorry"

"Ohhh..So that's why.."

"I'm sorry.."

"I wonder if I if I could take back every "I love you" ever said to you, would I do it?"

"Maveric please.."

"So I guess this is the end for us"

[Kenzie tears kept flowing on her cheeks"

"Don't cry princess, you've your parent to listen to..I understand you" Said Maveric softly while wiping y/n tears

"By the way,thank you for this memorable birthday Kenzie..I love you,my princess"

"I love you too and I'm sorry"

[Kenzie and Maveric hug each other for the last time]

[Then Kenzie quickly turn back]

"I'll go now..Bye.. Maveric" Said Kenzie in tiny

[Kenzie went into the car without looking back not like always]

"You'll forever be my princess..."

[Maveric tears finally flowing down on his cheeks after he tried his best to not cry in front of Kenzie]

Part 9: It Goes Wrong

There's only 2 days left before your wedding to Yaxel. Yaxel said he wanted to go out with you tonight. You have no choice but to go out with him as your parents told you to.

maveric packing all his clothes then put it in his luggage. He back check all the things he has put to make sure anything didn't left out. Then he took his flight ticket (which was going to take place tomorrow morning) and looked at it for a long time.

"Are you sure you want to do this without her knowledge?"

"[Maveric ignored what he said]

""At least you have to tell her Maveric!"

"Trix,can you pass this to her now"

"Now?"

"Yeah,go fast!"

"Y/n sorry I'll be a little late" Yaxel

[Kenzie sigh]

"Mom dad I'll wait outside"

"Okay darling"

[While playing your phone, you see someone familiar with in front of the gate]

"Oh it's him.."

[Kenzie quickly run towards him]

"What are you doing here?Where's Maveric?"

"Maveric didn't come with me but he have something to give to you"

[He give you that necklace and you stare at it]

"I wish I can give him something too.."

"He will leave tomorrow morning"

"What?Leave? Where?"

"He'll go abroad tomorrow morning. He told me to not tell you about this, but I think you have to know too"

"Oh my god thank you for telling me!"

"So that's all I want to say to you..And that necklace,please wear it"

"Of course I will"

"Oh thank you again!" Said Kenzie

[Yaxel arrived right when Maveri's man left]

[Kenzie put that necklace into her bag]

"Sorry I'm late"

"No it's okay"

"So where are we going?"

"I have booked this one restaurant for us"

"Ohh..Okay"

"Wait this place.."

[The place Yaxel brought you is the same restaurant where Maveric confessed his feeling towards you]

"Why?Have you been here?"

"Yeah.."

"Ohh"

[Yaxel pull out the chair for you]

"Thank you" Said Kenzie while smile at him

"So what do you want to eat?"

"Anything would be fine"

"Okay"

[Yaxel order a pasta and orange juice for you]

"So are you ready for our marriage?"

[Kenzie only give him a smile without answering his question]

"Why? You still love him?"

"It's a lie if I said no..Like I've told you,I marry you not because of love but because of my parents. I'm sorry"

"It's okay,I understand..If that what you want"

[The food have arrived. You two enjoy the food while chatting with each other to get to know each other more]

"Kenzie you get in the car first. I want to go somewhere"

"Okay"

Kenzie get inside the car. She take out the necklace that Maveric gave her and try to wear but it fell from Kenzie's hand. She looked for it (under where people put their feet) and found it. When she try to raise her head,she hit her head on the drawer.

"Ouch.."

The drawer where she hit her head was open and in it has a phone. She look at that phone and wonder who's phone is it and why he hide it there. She take it and the screen suddenly went on. The wallpaper on that phone is your picture. Your curiosity is getting more and more exaggerated. You open the gallery and it makes you speechless because the picture on it was filled with a pictures of you. When you go out with your friends, go out with Maveric..It's all taken secretly like you are followed by him every time you go somewhere. You get freak out and shaking because of it. You decided to get out of there as soon as possible but suddenly he appears by your window with a smile. You got shocked and freeze out.

"Did he see me with that phone.." Said Kenzie in her heart

He knock the window and asked "what's wrong?" to Kenzie

Kenzie decided to stay calm and just shook her head

Yaxel get in the car and give Kenzie the flowers he bought for her

"Ohh when did you buy this?" Asked Kenzie try to hide her fear

"Just now"

"You look like you've just seen a ghost..Why?"

"Oh I'm just surprised you showed up all of a sudden"

"Oh I'm sorry"

Kenzie take out her phone to tell Maveric about this but Yaxel suddenly said something that suprised Kenzie.

"What did you see on that phone?"

"Wha-what?" Kenzie tuttering

"Why did you open that phone? You just ruined our date tonight"

"What phone are you talking about, Yaxel?" Kenzie play dumb

[Yaxel smirk] "Did you think I didn't see you? Why? Were you shocked seeing what inside that phone?"

"I really hate it when someone open my stuff without my knowledge"

"Yaxel I'm sorry.."

"It's no fun y/n..You found out too early"

"What?"

[noticed that younghoon went into a different alley]

"Yaxel where are we going?"

Yaxel just keep quiet with a serious face

"Yaxel!"

"SHUT UP!"

"Arghh why must you ruined this mood!"

[Said Yaxel while hitting the steering wheel]

"Oh my god y/n,I'm sorry did I scare you?I'm sorry..I didn't mean it"

"Yaxel please answer me where are you taking me?"

"Somewhere..where just the two of us there without a third person" Said Yaxel while glancing at Kenzie

"What did she doing there?"

"What are you looking at?" Said Maveric's man while looking at the screen that displays the current Kenzie location

"Wait how can you see it?"

"It's from that necklace. It's have a GPS inside of it.

"But what did she going there?Isn't it a forest?"

"I feel uneasy. Hey bring all my

things here,I will go check on her"

"Okay but I'll follow you"

Hyunjae reach his phone and call y/n

[Maveric's name pop out on your screen]

[Sigh] "I told you,a third person aren't allowed Kenzie"

Yaxel quickly get Kenzie's phone before Kenzie can answer it and threw out the window

"YAXEL!! WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING?!"

Yaxel quickly get y/n's phone before Kenzie can answer it and threw out the window

"YAXEL!! WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING?!"

Kenzie tries to open the car door

"Don't move,if you think your life is important"

Maveric quickly getting ready

"Okay we're here sweetheart"

In front of you have an abandoned building,it was surrounded by forest and dark.

While you're in your thought, Yaxel suddenly open your door and pulled you out.

Last Part: Stay With Me

Yaxel brought you inside the building and put you at this one room where it's cold and dark.

"Stay here, I'll be back sweetheart"

Yaxel leave a torchlight with you and went out then lock the door from outside. You're freaked out and the only person that appeared on your mind is Maveric.

"Why can't I reach her?.." Said Maveric worriedly

Maveric sees your location still remaining the same in the same place with concern

"What's happened to her.."

He then sped off to your place

"No, I have to do something..Come on Kenzie think something.."

"Okay,here must have something useful"

Kenzie flash the light around the room to look for something useful for her to escape. Then she saw a wooden stick at the corner of the room but suddenly she heard the sound of footsteps heading to the room where she was.

She quickly take it and hide behind the door. The sound of the footsteps got closer and closer.

Then the door opened.

[Yaxel sighed] "Kenzie stop playing around I know you were here"

As soon as Yaxel looked behind the door, Kenzie quickly hit him with the stick and caused Yaxel to fall and groaned in pain.

Kenzie take that chance to run out but Yaxel quickly grabs Kenzie's leg and causes Kenzie to fall. Kenzie kicks Yaxel hand and tries to run again. Kenzie then going down but are stopped by 2 men who are Yaxel's servants. You slowly backed away from them.

"You're such a nuisance Kenzie" Whisper Yaxel behind Kenzie

Then everything goes black...

"Sir! Look at this" Said Maveric's men while pointing at Yaxel's car

"This car seems familiar.."

Maveric checked what was inside that car and saw the necklace that he gave to Kenzie

Kenzie wake up and saw Yaxel sitting in front of her

"You wake up" Said Yaxel with a smile on his face

Kenzie was tied

"Why are doing this Yaxel?"

"Isn't it obvious?"

"I don't want to lose you Kenzie,I really love you" Said Yaxel while caressed Kenzie's cheeks

[Kenzie turned her face away]

"If you really love me, you wouldn't do this to me!"

"But you're the one who asked for it"

"What???"

"We're about to marry to each other but your heart still belong to someone else when you're about to marry me Kenzie..Is it that hard to give your heart a chance to love me instead of that man?!"

"You want me to love you but do you realize that what you are doing now makes me hate you even more!"

[Yaxel slaps Kenzie]

[Kenzie shocked]

"I thought you're a kind person Yaxel,but I was wrong. I wish I would never accept to marry you!"

[Yaxel slaps Kenzie until Kenzie's mouth is injured]

"Maybe if I can't have your love,nobody can Kenzie"

[He take out his gun]

"Yaxel what are you trying to do?.."

[Suddenly he got hit at the back of his head with a stick wooden and cause him to faint]

"Maveric?"

[Kenzie shocked]

"We have to get out from here before he wake up" Said Maveric while trying to untie Kenzie.

"But there are 2 more men below"

"Don't worry my men have taken care of them"

[Yaxel wake up and groaned in pain]

"Kenzie, I want you to go downstairs now. My men are there."

"No no we still have times to go downstairs together Maveric!"

"I will not let a men who hurt my princess like this"

"But promise me to not get hurt" Said Kenzie while crying

"I promise" Reply Maveric with a smile while wiping Kenzie's tears

"Ahh so you're the guy who stole Kenzie from me"

[Maveric smirk] "Someone a jerk like you doesn't deserve to get Kenzie"

"Well if I can't get her,then you can't too"

Yaxel try to shoot Maveric with his gun but Maveric acted quickly and immediately brushed aside the gun in Yaxel's hand causing the gun to be thrown far away from him.

"No no I can't just leave him!"

[Kenzie grab a gun from one of Maveric's men and went back to the place where Maveric and Yaxel was]

"Wait miss don't!!!"

Maveric then tries to reach for the gun before being picked by Yaxel

[The sound of gunfire was released]

"Maveric.."

Kenzie fell to her knees when she saw the blood coming out from Maveric

"Noo noo please noo.."

"Kenzie..I'm sorry.."

Kenzie straightly went to Maveric while hoping what she saw was just an imagination

"Maveric?"

"I'm sorry Kenzie.."

"No you've nothing to be sorry for Maveric!Stay awake,the ambulance will coming sooner" Said Kenzie crying while trying to stop his blood that coming out from his stomach

[The ambulance has arrived and brought him to the hospital]

[After a few months]

"Congratulations on your wedding Elora!" Said Kenzie while hugging Elora's tightly

"Aww you both look so cute together!"

"Thank you babe!"

[After Elora's wedding,you went to the theme park where Maveric and you once go]

"It's been a long time.."

[Someone hugging you from behind]

"Seriously Maveric why did you-"

[Maveric kneel down with a flowers on his hand]

"What are you doing?!"

"I'm sorry for being late. So will you accept my flower as my apologies?"

"Stop it Maveric! People are looking"

"Not untill you accept my apologies"

"Okay I forgive you!"

[Kenzie take his flower and Maveric's finally standing up]

[Kenzie turn her back from Maveric and leave him behind]

"What? You said you forgive me!" Shout Maveric while goes to Kenzie

"Yes I am.."

[Maveric take Kenzie's hand and hold it tightly]

"Let me go.."

"No I won't" Said Maveric with teasing sound

"Maveric.." Said Kenzie while trying to let her hand go from Maveric

[Maveric suddenly kiss Kenzie's cheeks]

"If you trying to let go of your hand,I'll kiss you again but this time not on your cheeks" Said Maveric while smirking

[Maveric speechless]

[Maveric then smiling and walking while holding hand]

*You two are back together but this time with the blessings of Kenzie's parents.
